Smartypants, Localfields join minimal heavyweight Monolake in Big Apple throw-down

Smartypants and Localfields will represent Unlockedgroove
at techno's beloved subTonic weekly The Bunker on Friday, August 26th.

This will be a record-breaking event in which Monolake (at Bunker) will be collaborating live with Deadbeat (in Japan!) using Robert Henke's improvised network performance tool Atlantic Waves, answering the age-old adage "if a Canadian in Japan drops a groove, does a German in New York hear it?"

A slew of techno greats (Safety Scissors, DJ Olive, Todd Sines, and David Last) join the Pantyfields duo to throw-down slammin' grooves and hot beats.
